It’s no surprise that Ann Romney, wife of Presidential candidate Mitt Romney, is fond of red. After all, red tends to be the color most closely associated with the Republican Party in America. For the evening of her husband’s nomination as the 2012 Republican candidate for President of the United States, Mrs. Romney selected a red shirt-waist dress in silk taffeta from Oscar de la Renta’s Pre-Fall collection.
